A gift, part II
Remember that uncle of mine who is really fascinated by olive trees? Well, yesterday me and hubby brought him and my aunt to our friends' country home, where there's a very old tree (about 1300) from which another friend started his olive trees' cultivation. The area is very peaceful and relaxing, the house so charming, and the tree is very impressive. We spent a very nice afternoon all together, with some cakes and good wines, and my uncle felt immediately in love with the old tree (I took some pics for it, and of him under the tree), and considering he's a very religious man, I joked about him looking like Jesus in the olive garden at Jetsemani! We left our friends in the evening, and my aunt promised to invite all us in september for having lunch all together, to fix the place in their garden to plant some olive trees, with the help of our friend.
